I must say that I am completely in love with this new punch from Stampin' Up! - the Build a Cupcake punch.  It has motivated me to get quite a few birthday cards made in the short space of time that I've had it, which is fantastic.  I made a card organizer last year and had great intentions, but I missed many a birthday.  Hopefully now I'll finish filling the organizer and start sending out more cards!

This punch is from the new Occasions Mini Catalogue (email me if you'd like a copy - I missed the mailing deadline but I have them here, along with the Sale-A-Bration minis).  It is the Build A Cupcake Punch and it sells for $23.95.  There is also a matching stamp set, which is completely adorable - It's called Create A Cupcake.  I used the cupcake bottom image and the sentiment image from the set on this card.  The punch itself is incredible.  You can punch all of the images from one colour cardstock and then mix and match the pieces, or you can punch each piece individually with different colours of cardstock.  This one punch includes the cupcake bottom and top (which would also make great clouds), a cherry, a candle, and round sprinkles or confetti.  Super cute!  For this card, I punched the cupcake top out of Glossy White Cardstock to make the icing look shiny and I punched the cherry out of the new Glimmer Paper (also in the new Occasions Mini).  Love, love, love these new toys!

BTW - I found this colour combination in the new Colour Coach.  There are some incredible combinations and ideas in this little tool - it has been great to get the creativity flowing again!  The layout of the card was from the same page that the cupcake products are on in the new mini - another great place for inspiration!
