I'm still here and posting something new!

Well, I finally have a chance to post something new! I know that it has been quite a while since I posted something, and I'm so grateful if someone out there is still checking in. You have no idea how much I have missed posting and creating something for fun and I'm so glad that things have finally slowed down a little. Since I last posted, so many things have happened! I have finished 125 wedding invitations and matching envelopes, 75 wedding shower thank you cards, 22 cards for a friend's bridal shower and a few other projects in between. It's been a little crazy, but things are coming together. Craig and I finally have a place to live - a beautiful new condo in Oakville. I'm very excited to take a look at it on Saturday when we get the keys. I know exactly what the layout is like, but it will be so nice to see the colour choices, etc. I will let you know how it goes.

Anyway, enough babbling - just wanted to explain where I've been. I'm hoping to post a little more regularly now and don't worry - I haven't forgotten about the promised giveaways and Stamp-A-Stack pictures. Keep your eyes peeled and don't forget to subscribe to my blog if you haven't already so that you can receive updates when I post.

This card is one that I made for a wedding that Craig and I went to at the beginning of the month. It is not a standard sized card (4 1/4"x4 1/4"), but it fit quite nicely into a clear envelope, so I just folded the extra part of the envelope over when I sealed it. It matched the gift bag perfectly, which was great! Here are the materials used:

Paper: Chocolate Chip, Bashful Blue, Whisper White, Vellum Cardstock

Ink: Chocolate Chip, Garden Green, Bashful Blue, Brown Staz-On

Tools: Hobby Blade, 1/16" Handheld Punch, Empressor Stylus, Sponge Daubers

Accessories: Wide Chocolate Chip Grosgrain Ribbon (behind the vellum), Silver Brads, Dimensionals

Happy Mother's Day everyone! Love you mom! You're the greatest and I am so blessed to have you in my life! You are such a beautiful person inside and out and I treasure the time that we spend together!

Just a quick post today to show you a couple of the Mother's Day cards that I made this year. I started out with a design in mind and then had to change it a little, as I ran out of the large flowers from the Pretties Kit. I will have to get another tin - I just love those!
